Design reviews - When going through product development, a design needs to be measured against its purpose. A design review, taking between a couple of hours and a few days, is a good way to make sure a design is meeting all your criteria. It’s also a great time to bring in someone with a new point of view and product development experience.

Thermal design - Heat management is one of the most difficult problems to overcome in design, especially so in complex electronics. Even the most basic modeling software can be prohibitively expensive, and most companies don’t have the resources for their engineers to learn to run it effectively. With years of practical experience in thermal design, simulation, and testing, as well as access to and familiarity with comprehensive thermal modeling software, we can give you solutions.

Mechanical design and development - New product development is the key to most companies’ success, and is something that we have focused on across several industries and in low- to high-volume product lines with very complex requirements. Project management - Good project management is at the core of running successful development programs, but often the people who are responsible for it don’t have adequate time or knowledge to keep projects from stumbling or even failing. With experience managing small and large projects alike, we have been through the same struggles that every company faces. From making sure meetings run effectively to keeping a project on time and on budget — even to knowing when a project should be cancelled — we can help your products meet the critical milestones you set for them.

OEM management - Working with an overseas OEM to complete a project can be difficult, but we can make your project successful by helping you to understand and overcome not only the technical challenges but also the potential business roadblocks and cultural differences.

Qualification and validation - Testing is an important part of the engineering cycle, and we have expertise in devising and performing qualification test plans and working with UL and other regulatory agencies.

Six Sigma - We are well versed in Six Sigma methodology and implementation, having hundreds of hours of Six Sigma training, specifically dealing with design and process improvement, and have completed numerous successful projects using these tools.
